Hey everyone Pixxel Papa here, and we are finally back from Too Many Games! We had quite the amazing weekend, and we were there to experience the con from the second the doors opened on Friday until they closed on Sunday.
I want to start things off? by sincerely apologizing for the lack of a podcast throughout the weekend. We had everything set up to go on Saturday to bring some awesome guests in and have quite a time with it, but unfortunately, our equipment was not cooperating with us/the environment , and we did not get another chance to broadcast one. My sincerest apologizes to you all.
Fortunately, wewere able to score a ton of interviews with some of the featured guests and exceptionally talented artists who were at the show, party with Dj CUTMAN, Underbelly, and brentalfloss, and, get some amazing deals on swag. Tron Bonne and I managed to score complete copies of Rival Schools, Darkstalkers, Vandal Hearts, and Um Jammer Lammy for a grand total of $20! Yes, that?s it, just $20! We even got a copy of Evil Zone for free! Capital!
We also got to hold in our hands a Nintendo World Championships 1990 cart and a copy of Stadium Events! That was something I honestly never thought I?d get to do.I?m still feeling the warm tinglies?
Speaking of things we thought we?d never get to do, Tron Bonne, Squarepainter, and I will be in the Angry Video Game Nerd movie! I really wanna thank James and Mike and the rest of the crew, for not only letting us be in the movie in the first place, but also for being an absolute pleasure to work with! I can?t tell you what the stuff we filmed was about, but I will tell you, it?s easy to see why the AVGN has become what it is today. Rare is it that I?ve seen someone genuinely enjoy what they do as much as James Rolfe. Thanks again, dude!
Now that we?ve had our day to recoup and actually get some sleep, the awesome stream of awesomeness from Too Many Games will begin tomorrow. Stay tuned to RGN, and meet some truly inspiring and amazing gamers! In the meantime, check out Xanfan?s awesome writeup from over the weekend on a CD-i game that I bet a bunch of you have never played before.
